These terms apply to your use of www.ibisci.com and to purchases from Banvue Point International, Inc., doing business as IBI Scientific. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

1. Research use only

Unless a product page states otherwise, our products are for research use only. They are not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, food, cosmetic or household use, or for use in humans or animals. You are responsible for handling products safely, following the Safety Data Sheet, and complying with all laws that apply to their purchase, use, storage and disposal.

2. Accounts

You must sign in to an account to check out. Keep your login details secure and your contact and billing information current. You are responsible for orders placed through your account.

3. Orders, pricing and payment

• Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price at checkout applies to that order.
• We accept major credit cards and purchase orders from approved institutions. Purchase orders can be emailed to info@ibisci.com or placed by phone.
• We may limit quantities, decline or cancel an order (for example, for a pricing error, suspected fraud or export restriction). If we cancel after payment, we will refund you in full.
• Sales tax is added where required. International buyers pay any duties and import taxes.

4. Product information

We work to keep product descriptions, specifications and images accurate. Occasional errors happen, and we may correct them at any time, including after an order is placed. Specifications may change as products are improved.

5. Warranty

We warrant that our products will conform to their published specifications when shipped. If a product does not, we will replace it or credit the purchase price. Equipment warranties are listed on the product page. Apart from these warranties, and to the extent the law allows, products and the site are provided "as is," without other warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, IBI Scientific is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data, lost research time or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.

7. Using the site

Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with its security, scrape it, or upload malicious code. Content on the site, including text, images, logos and protocols, belongs to IBI Scientific or its licensors and may not be reused without permission. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

8. Feedback and reviews

If you send us ideas or post reviews, you allow us to use them without payment. Reviews must be honest and must not contain unlawful or offensive material.

9. Indemnity

You agree to cover claims against IBI Scientific that result from your misuse of our products or the site, or your breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts.

11. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page; the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and us for use of the site.
