IBI’s Molecular Weight Protein Markers are designed for the determination of approximate molecular weights of proteins by SDS polyacrylamide electrophoresis. The protein markers are a mixture of purified proteins of known molecular weights supplied in a ready-to-use loading buffer. The high range markers will give 5 protein bands from 200,000 to 39,200 KDa.

IBI’s Molecular Weight Protein Markers include Myosin (200,000 KDa), β-galactosidase (116,250 KDa), Phosphorylase B (97,400 KDa), Bovine Serum Albumin (66,200 KDa), and Aldolase (39,200 KDa).

Recommended Use
Protein Molecular Weight Markers are designed for the determination of approximate molecular weights of proteins by SDS polyacrylamide electrophoresis. The Protein Molecular Weight Markers are a mixture of purified proteins of known molecular weights supplied in ready to use loading buffer (contains azide). The high will give 5 protein bands from 200,000 to 39,200 kDa.

Gel Loading Procedures:
1. Heat an aliquot (3-5 μl/Lane) of protein MW Markers at 95°C for 5 minutes.
2. Load the marker into the designated lane(s) for protein standard.

Storage
Store at -20°C. Keep dry. Warm to room temperature before opening.
